Ginnie,

Love the puppy pics!! I hope you have the chance to keep track of them (photographicly). It is great to see them grow.

Thanks again for running such a great site.
I check it every Monday AM.

Thanks Ginnie! Thank you for your photographic magic and for sharing that adorable pup with the rest of the world. I'm blessed to have you as my neighbor and buddy!
I can't tell you how many people ask to come see newborn Danes, but no one is allowed due to the risk involved. This way I can share these babies with everyone!
(You should write about the rigorous clorox scrubdown I gave you prior to setting foot in my house!)
As for Bob...I fell hook, line and sinker!

I feel so used, Ginnie. I mean really. Play with our heartstrings and dash our dreams. *sigh*

Ginnie @ 10:55AM | Apr 19th 2004

Peggy,

That wasn't a "real" photograph, of course. It was a photomontage. The Dane in the picture is none other than Teresa LaBrie's beautiful blue wonder-boy, LUCA. (From a photo that I took at the 2002 GDCA National.)

You had me going with the Bob Dylan thing. I discussed it with my husband, who is a program manager at NASA and he found it feasible.

Could you please put updated photos of the pups each week for the next 7 or so. Even a short sentence with a link to photos would be great. Thanks for putting the "awwww" in my morning :-)

Congratulations Cindy!
When "the girls" were born I spent so much time photographing the little darlings.
Seeing these pics brings it all back. I loved that period. I love this pic.

In regards to Bob, well, because it was coming from you I believed.
You have to admit, it would have been cool.

You're proof that you can fool most of the people some of the time. Try sending "Bob" a copy of Da Dane with his picture, his response or lack of should be interesting. Love the baby picture and would like to see weekly updates. I too, have a merle, Lotty, Thanks much.

Of course, I agree with the others that the puppy photo is cute.
But now to the Bob Dylan spoof:
I should have known better than believing it. >G< Anyone who puts a rubber snake in her husbands luggage, knowing he has to go through air port security, is capable of doing and saying anything. ROFL.
You are too funny, Ginnie!

After I got all excited at the Bob Dylan "joke" that I believed I wondered how Bob could own Great Danes with all the traveling he does and then I wondered about your story.
Anyway the puppies are adoreable!

The story was believable (and believed) because you happen to be a talented spinner of yarns. I'm often captivated by your colorful stories.

Congratulations. Good story —dylan, great dane...— and best theory about human credulity. Should you believe this, or is just another stupid false proposition?
Really, you deserve both the Pulitzer and the Nobel Price.
