Thank you for the continued excellent description of the countries that you have "visited". The details, as well as great pictures, have made reading it extremely enjoyable as well as educational regarding the lands & people on your route. It is even more educational for those of us that have never traveled outside of North America. Looking forward to hearing about Taiwan.

I have really enjoyed your pieces on Vietnam. I lived and taught there for nine months after I graduated college, and I would love to return there soon. It is nice to see another American has been able to develop a love of this wonderful contry and culture!

my gosh, Ginnie, you could write a book. Little green men. leeches, screeming creatures in the jungle. Makes my vacation last week in Florida look like a trip to the supermarket. I went to Kenya in 1977 and remember the mosquito nets very well. You were never quite sure what would be attached to your net in the morning!

too bad you werent able to get to the other 'rice bowl' the mekong delta, and saigon, its an amazing contrast to the north, im still in the maldives but murphy is alive and well in saigon!!!
