The purpose of the Greater Columbia Children's Choir is to share
great music to the glory of God and to the edification and enjoyment
of its members and audiences. We strive to achieve a high standard
of musical excellence in order to enrich the lives of our young
singers, their families, the greater Columbia area, and the world
beyond. To that end, talented children of all races and backgrounds
are chosen by audition to participate in weekly rehearsals and
frequent performances.

In additional to many ongoing activities, the Greater Columbia Children's Choir sponsors numerous choral festivals for children's choirs and participates in the annual Governor's Carolighting at the Carolina Coliseum.

Choral Director's Association in Charleston, SC, February 1998
