DaDane of DaWeek

"Camera Shy"

Have you ever noticed that most Great Danes are terribly camera shy? Yeah, right. I don't know about you, but as soon as my Danes see the camera they are in my face. Apparently mine aren't the only Danes that need to sniff every camera they see. Sandy Suarez Boutin's "Ashley" (pictured here) couldn't resist the draw of the camera, either.

People often ask me how I make DaDane montages. Using Adobe Photoshop software, I create multiple layers to hold the various elements used in the picture. (Each image is around 30 layers deep.) At the end, when I have everything the way I want it, I collapse the layers and resample the file to optimize it for Web display.
