Whenever I go to a dog show I enjoy watching the dogs, of course, but the people are often just as interesting. At the 'VDH Europasieger-Zuchtschau 2000' all-breed dog show in Germany last month, one contestant really caught my eye. Actually, it was the dog's owner who got my attention. She commandeered her dog's crate and spent most of the day in it – sleeping. Don't let anybody tell you that dog crates are confining and uncomfortable. Select the right size, outfit it with the right bedding, and your dog crate can be every bit as comfortable as your own bed at home. You saw proof of that right here on DaDane of DaWeek!
