Great Dane

This lovely 19-month-old "apricot brindle" girl competed at the GDCA National Specialty in Kansas City last month. Her name is TLC Tigger Annie, but she's called Tiggen for short. Her breeder/owner is Linda Dalton of Michigan. Tiggen's happy home includes four other Great Danes — her sister, stepsister, mother and 12-year-old grandmother. When she gets tired of hanging out with her relatives she goes off to play with Spike, the family coonhound, or she runs with the family's quarter horses. When she wants passive entertainment, she chats with the cockatoo or watches the family's pet fish swimming in their aquarium. And after a long hard day of social activity Tiggen can often be found gently rocking in her very own recliner, watching Scooby Doo cartoons or a rerun of her favorite movie, "Animal House."
